"Kallem" is an exhilarating group game that combines speed, vocabulary, and teamwork. It's perfect for both kids and adults, as it relies on the breadth of your Arabic word knowledge and your agility in coming up with new words.

The game is all about speed. The player who is the quickest to change the word by using one of the letters in their hand will be the first to finish their cards and emerge as the winner.

To start the game, the players agree on whether to use only standard Arabic words or a mix of standard and colloquial words. Then, a 3-letter word is placed in the center, and the players are dealt an equal number of cards.

Each card has two sides, each with a different letter. Players can use either side of the card to change the word in the center. The goal is to be the first to play all your cards by swapping out one letter at a time to create a new word.

If a player changes the word to something questionable, the other players can call for a pause to verify its validity. If it's not a legitimate word, the card is returned to the player, and the game continues.

The game also features a special "star" card that can be used as any letter. As the game progresses, players must be careful not to repeat the same letter on the same position in the word.
